Where have you been I've been waiting for you to get here! Take off your shoes wiggle your toes and ......Blog?

My generation had to deal with a TV control that you had to get off the couch to change channels, there were three. TV went off the air sometime around midnight and usually came back around 6 in the morning. This Blog thing is so new to me that my speakers squeak when I open the the page up.

Well in a few short weeks I will be a published writer. Yep, thats right readers I done wrote a book. Now if my high school teachers get a chance to read it I'm sure they will shake thier heads and make comments like "that kid almost flunked my english class...or I knew his history grade could have been higher......" Those comments would be right. MY book may not be a perfect example of how to use a dangling participle or even the best example of where you might find a period. What it is is a darn good story that came out of my head. Its a story that follows an American family as they grow into what makes America strong. Its a story that my grandchildren can read as well as my parents. I'm not ashamed of one word.

As I learn more about this Bloggin' thing there will be more to see and to read about. Thanks for visiting and be sure to take your shoes with you when you leave....unless they are new and a size ten.
